ARK Communities: A ‘village’ for kids in care

ARK Communities exist so that carers, whether new or experienced, can connect, support, encourage and grow together.

Foster carers, Respite carers, Permanent carers or Adoptive parents all come together to build deep relationships, create a network of support, and provide a ‘village’ for the kids in their care. ARK Communities form ‘extended family’ for each other, connecting with like-minded people who want to spur you on to succeed and thrive as a carer.

All ARK Community leaders are supported by the ARK team through regular communication and support.

Find out if there’s an ARK Community near you here or contact ARK to explore options for starting one in your area.

ARK Communities are an initiative of ARK Australia, a movement of communities dedicated to providing family and belonging to vulnerable kids through foster care & adoption.

If there is no ARK Community in your area, we’d love to support you or your church to host Carer Gatherings. Find out more at the link below.
